Harewood House Terrace.
Harewood's spectacular Italianate terrace overlooks the estate's breathtaking landscapes, including the home's formal Victorian gardens. Built in the 1840s by Parliament architect, Sir Charles Barry, the two-level terrace features grand fountains and balanced flowerbeds with perennials, roses and climbing plants. The terrace's upper level now serves as a tearoom where guests can enjoy a traditional English tea overlooking the 100 acres of impressive gardens on the estate.
Harewood House Bird Garden.
Harewood is home to one of the largest collections of birds in England. The Bird Garden features more than 90 species, including threatened and endangered birds, all housed in natural surroundings.Visitors will see a variety of birds, from the common to the exotic, including birds like sparrows, waterfowl, red kites, ostrich, penguins, and flamingos.

Harewood House Gallery.
With impressive hand painted ceilings, triple windows, Victorian fireplaces, and a huge collection of Old Masters, the Gallery offers a museum quality collection all displayed in one home.In addition to the room's fabulous artwork, the Gallery also displays the home's collection of Chinese porcelain, Chippendale furnishings, impressive mirrors, and an intricately designed and decorated ceiling.

Harewood House is open to the public daily from 10:30am-5:30pm, April through October. Ticket prices range from £5.50 to £13.50, depending on age and season. Family packages are available. Children under age four enter free.
